Tom Burton III

Tom Burton founded and currently co-chairs Mintz’s Energy and Sustainability Practice which is one of the first in the nation to focus on sustainability innovation and has since been leading the industry with over 250 clients and over 500 transactions across energy sectors totaling over $10 billion in the past decade. Tom has represented clients in all stages of development, from investors, to start-ups, to Fortune 100 companies. Tom’s global practice focuses on complex corporate finance matters including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, securities transactions, and special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs). He has nurtured the growth of many clean technology clients across a whole span of sectors including solar, wind, geothermal, water, green buildings and electric vehicles. He is nationally recognized and regionally renowned for his leadership in the clean technology sector.
