Hope is highly regarded in the laboratory and diagnostics industry, as well as in the health care delivery system in general, for her defense and resolution of large federal and state investigations arising under criminal and civil health care fraud statutes. She also defends federal and state consumer protection matters. In addition, Hope negotiates and structures global settlements with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and its U.S. Attorneys’ Offices (USAO), state Attorneys' General Offices (AGOs) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), as well as corporate integrity agreements with the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG). An important part of her practice also includes compliance counseling and structuring of arrangements and advising clients about legislative developments and investigations.
