Timothy Law

Tim is a partner in Reed Smith’s Insurance Recovery Group, with over 25 years of experience in various areas of insurance law. He represents corporations, non-profits and universities in disputes with their insurance companies, focusing on liability insurance coverage litigation, arbitration and mediation. He has obtained insurance recoveries for TCPA, FCRA and other statutory liabilities under both general liability and professional liability insurance policies. Tim has very substantial experience representing corporations in insurance company insolvency proceedings and in workers’ compensation insurance coverage and premium disputes. Internationally, Tim has handled arbitrations in London and Bermuda relating to construction and pharmaceutical insurance matters.

Tim’s pro bono work includes representation of United Policyholders, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, indigent individuals, and victims of human trafficking.
