Tiago Félix da Costa is a partner at Morais Leitão since 2015. He heads the criminal and compliance department and the data protection team. Having been practicing law since 2004, Tiago has wide experience in the areas of criminal and misdemeanor and commercial litigation and in internal investigations related with criminal and regulatory offenses. Tiago as also developed his practice in Data Protection since 2011 and he has been particularly active on the electronic communications, banking and distribution sectors.

Author of several articles and books in his areas of expertise.

Law Degree (University of Lisbon School of Law, 2002). Postgraduate Studies in Corporate Law (ISG - Business & Economics School/Portuguese Bar Association, 2004). Master’s Degree in Law (Católica Lisbon School of Law, 2009). Advanced Training Course and certification on Data Protection Compliance in the EU (European Institute of Public Administration – EIPA, 2017 and 2019).

Tiago was a guest teacher at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa – Faculdade de Direito and he teaches regularly on post-graduation courses.
