Partner Thomas Anderl co-heads the Construction practice of Wolf Theiss. As a construction law expert, Thomas is regularly involved in complex matters in this field of expertise, both national and international, including the representation of all players of the construction market before courts, arbitral tribunals and FIDIC-Dispute Boards. He is a member of the Austrian Association for Construction Law (ÖGEBAU), a regular author of numerous articles on construction law and has been a frequent lecturer at universities of applied science on these topics.
Prior to his law career, Thomas spent more than 5 years working in the construction field as international claim and contract manager in the CEE/SEE region and as a construction engineer in Austria.
In addition to his Austrian law degree, Thomas holds a degree in construction engineering and construction management from the Vienna University of Applied Sciences. Further, he is a qualified builder ("Baumeister"), a certified FIDIC-Adjudicator (VBI / FIDIC) and is registered with the German Association of Consulting Engineers (VBI) in the list of Dispute Adjudicators.
