Financial Regulatory Law; Capital Markets Law; Corporate Transactions. Christine is an expert in the financial sector with exceptional knowledge and practical experience in banking and financial regulatory law (including crypto-assets) as well as in capital markets law. She regularly advises a number of Austrian and international clients on financial regulatory matters, (cross-border) M&A transactions, capital increases and IPOs as well as debt issuances of credit institutions and insurance companies. She is also a leading expert in bank regulatory (capital) matters, advising institutions in Austria and CEE/SEE in relation to issues of regulatory capital (such as AT 1, Tier 2 and MREL eligible notes as well as covered bonds).

Counsel, WOLF THEISS, since 2010. Before joining WOLF THEISS, Christine, inter alia, worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (now: Freshfields Rechtsanwälte PartG mbB), Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG (now: Raiffeisen Bank International AG) and the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA).

Christine is an author of the leading Austrian commentaries on the Austrian Banking Act ("BWG") (Dellinger, editor) and the Regulation (EU) 575/2013 ("CRR") (Dellinger/Blume, editors) as well as numerous articles on financial regulatory topics in legal journals.
