Christine is an expert in the financial sector with exceptional knowledge and practical experience in banking and financial regulatory law (including crypto-assets) as well as in capital markets law. She regularly advises a number of Austrian and international clients on financial regulatory matters, (cross-border) M&A transactions, capital increases and IPOs as well as debt issuances of credit institutions and insurance companies. She is also a leading expert in bank regulatory (capital) matters, advising institutions in Austria and CEE/SEE in relation to issues of regulatory capital (such as AT 1, Tier 2 and MREL eligible notes as well as covered bonds).
Career
Counsel, WOLF THEISS, since 2010. Before joining WOLF THEISS, Christine, inter alia, worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (now: Freshfields Rechtsanwälte PartG mbB), Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG (now: Raiffeisen Bank International AG) and the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA).
