Career

Szymon Okoń, Ph.D. is an attorney-at-law with two doctorates – one in law and the other in economics (specialising in finance). He has studied both in Poland and abroad, including at Edinburgh’s Napier University and the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is also a lecturer at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.

He specialises in advising on mergers & acquisitions, the legal and financial aspects of capital markets and all aspects of banking and finance. His vast professional experience includes having advised on numerous capital market transactions (IPOs, bond issues, M&As), a variety of restructuring projects and most aspects of corporate advice. He is also renowned for his advice on regulatory issues concerning the financial markets.
