Sebastián Luegmayer is a Partner and member of O'Farrell’s Management Committee, leading the firm’s Banking, Finance and Capital Markets practice. He advises domestic and international financial institutions, corporations, investment firms and market participants on capital markets transactions, structured finance, project finance, banking regulation, financial derivatives and digital assets. Since 2005, he has been actively involved in the development of Argentina’s derivatives and financial markets, regularly advising on cross-border transactions, securities offerings, financing arrangements and regulatory matters involving banking, capital markets and fintech activities. He is widely recognised for his work in derivatives and structured products, particularly through his longstanding involvement with ISDA initiatives in Argentina.

Sebastián advises financial institutions, issuers, investors and multinational corporations on capital markets transactions, banking regulation, structured finance, derivatives and fintech matters. He has particular expertise in debt issuances, MTN programmes, project finance, OTC derivatives, close-out netting, collateral arrangements and digital assets. His practice regularly involves cross-border transactions and complex regulatory matters affecting international banks, investment funds, financial services providers and participants in the Argentine capital markets.
