José Luis Zapata

Labor Law

José Luis Zapata is a Partner and member of O'Farrell's Management Committee. He leads the firm's Labour & Employment practice and has extensive experience advising domestic and international companies on labour litigation, collective bargaining, union negotiations, workforce restructuring, executive employment matters and employment aspects of corporate transactions. Throughout his career, he has represented employers in complex labour disputes and has played an active role in shaping labour policy discussions through business associations and international labour forums.

- Vice President of the Social Policy Department of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA).

- Technical delegate member of the Social Policy Department of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA) and representative of the employer sector before the International Labour Organization (ILO).

- Appointed by the Association of Automotive Manufacturers (ADEFA) as its representative before the Social Policy Department of the UIA.

- Attorney-at-law for the Argentine Chamber of the Oil Industry (CIP), participating in collective bargaining proceedings within the oil & gas sector.

- Attorney-at-law for the Argentine Chamber of Casual Food Restaurants (CAECC).

Attorney-at-law for the Argentine Chamber of Renewable Energies (CADER).

- Member of the Argentine Association of Labour Law (Asociación Argentina de Derecho del Trabajo).

- Member of the Argentine Society of Labour Law (Sociedad Argentina de Derecho Laboral).

- Member of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association.
