Sean A. O’Neal has over 20 years of experience handling debtor and creditor side work, both in and out-of-court, with a focus on negotiating and documenting transactions and advising on litigation strategies. He is regularly sought out for his experience on complex corporate restructurings and his leading expertise in corporate governance, prenegotiated and prepackaged bankruptcies, loan-to-own strategies, out-of-court restructurings, liability management transactions, debtor-in-possession financing and exit financing. Sean also works with investors in purchasing assets from, or making investments in, distressed companies. His industry focus includes crypto, real estate, retail, commodities and power industries, among others.
In addition, Sean is active in the community, serving on the board of directors of Brooklyn Community and Housing Services and the Brooklyn Children’s Museum.
