Sam specialises in both public and private children law, where he has experience in acting for local authorities, parents, guardians and separately represented children. He has particular interest and experience in cases involving serious injury and child death, cases involving allegations of fabricated and induced illness, cases in both the public and private law sphere involving allegations of serious parental alienation and cases involving forced marriage, FGM and honour-based violence.
Sam also has a growing interest in cases with an international element, and he has recent experience in acting for both applicants and respondents in international child abduction proceedings in both Hague Convention and non/Hague Convention cases.
