Rudolf Pfeffer

Rudolf Pfeffer has vast experience in banking, finance and capital markets matters. Rudolf's practice includes advising lenders, borrowers and sponsors on all aspects of local and international finance transactions, particularly with regard to leveraged finance, real estate finance, project finance, acquisition finance, recapitalisations and general corporate lending. He is also active in debt capital market matters frequently advising issuers, managers and investors on various aspects of bond issuances in both local and cross-border context. Rudolf's track record also includes advising foreign institutional clients on local aspects of loan portfolio disposals, aircraft finance and bankruptcy and restructuring matters. In addition to his finance expertise, Rudolf gained significant experience in licensing, regulatory, compliance and financial oversight matters in the (re)insurance sector.

Counsel, Wolf Theiss, since 2021. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Rudolf worked as Regional Counsel at one of the world's largest reinsurers and held senior positions at prominent law firms. He periodically teaches as an external lecturer at Comenius University, Faculty of Law.
