Rubén Doctor

Partner. Specialist in labor and social security law, particularly in handling lawsuits and participating in court proceedings, both in labor courts and judicial review courts. Mr. Doctor is an expert in negotiating collective bargaining agreements and industrial agreements, restructuring, business successions and outsourcing, as well as in advising on special employment relationships, such as those of senior management and professional athletes. He advises Spanish and international companies from many sectors on an ongoing basis, including advising on social security issues and health and safety at work.

He is a collaborating lecturer of employment law at ESADE Business & Law School (Barcelona), and lectures in the Master in Human Resources and in the course on the labor process at the Barcelona Bar Association. He provided preparatory training for the public competitive examination for the Body of Social Security Administrative Assistants in Getafe (Madrid) and lectured in the Master in Legal Practice at Universitat de Barcelona.

A member of the labor division of the Barcelona Bar Association.

He is the author of several specialized publications on labor law and social security.
