Professional activity focused in legal advice to human resources management, supporting customers in restructuring and collective redundancies, HR due diligences, collective bargaining negotiations and employment disputes. Collaboration with several major national and multinational companies, from wide range of business areas, particularly industry, trade and services, such as food processing, banking, media, building and real estate. Has been involved in a number of restructuring processes in large groups, leading negotiation process with employees, works councils and trade unions in collective dismissal procedures as well as employment law litigation. Responsible for providing legal services and daily support to human resources management, in several companies, in a preventative and problem-solving capacity.

Career

Partner at SLCM since 2014, Head of Employment practice area team. Joined SLCM as a lawyer specialized in Employment Law in 2004. Previously, Head of Legal and Human Resources Department in Multinational Company.

Member of Portuguese Bar Association since 1986.

Member of Arbitrators lists at Centro de Arbitragem Comercial of Lisbon and Instituto de Arbitragem Comercial of Oporto. APODIT member – Portuguese Association of Labour Law.

Graduate in Law (1984), post-graduate studies in European Law (1985), Company Law (2005) and Labour (2009) at Lisbon Catholic University.
