Career

Partner. Expert in advising on national and international transactions, including M&A, joint ventures and private equity.

In recent years, he has advised on company sales in the financial, tourism, distribution, infrastructure, construction, software and technology, media and agriculture sectors. He also advises on negotiating agreements for outsourcing and for IT services provision.

Assistant lecturer at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa since 2001. From 2011 to 2013, he was director of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in Brazil and, from 2000 to 2001, he was deputy officer at the Portuguese Ombudsman’s Office.

Member of the Portugal and Brazil (São Paulo) bar associations. Member of the firm's German desk. Member of the European Young Lawyers Association and the Harvard Club of Portugal. Member of the board of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the UK.

He is qualified to practice law in England and Wales (solicitor) and in New York (attorney and counselor at law).
