Ronak Desai

Ronak D. Desai, firm-wide Leader of Paul Hastings’ Congressional Investigations practice, is a partner in the Investigations and White Collar Defense practice group. He deploys his extensive government and private sector experience to navigate clients through the unique legal, political, reputational, and media risks inevitably arising from Congressional scrutiny.

In the private sector, Ronak leverages his expertise regarding Congressional investigations and oversight, best practices in responding to document requests and subpoenas, preparing for public and private Congressional testimony. He enjoys longstanding relationships with Members of Congress and senior staff from both sides of the aisle.

Ronak has successfully represented clients in front of virtually every single Senate and House Committee on Capitol Hill, as well as in front of individual member offices and special committees and commissions. Ronak’s clients include individuals, companies, trade associations, and nonprofit organizations across a wide spectrum of industry sectors.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Desai served as investigative counsel to a high-profile Select Committee on Capitol Hill, his fifth time working in Congress.
