Ronak D. Desai is Partner and firm-wide Leader of Paul Hastings’ Congressional Investigations practice. He deploys his extensive government and private sector experience to navigate clients through the unique legal, political, reputational, and media risks inevitably arising from Congressional scrutiny.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Desai served as investigative counsel to a high-profile Select Committee on Capitol Hill, his fifth time working in Congress.

On behalf of his clients in the private sector, Mr. Desai leverages his expertise regarding Congressional investigations and oversight, best practices in responding to document requests and subpoenas, preparing for public and private Congressional testimony, and longstanding relationships with Members and senior staff from both sides of the aisle.

Mr. Desai has successfully represented companies and individuals in front of several permanent House and Senate committees and offices, including the Judiciary, Financial Services, Oversight and Reform, Intelligence, Ethics, and Agricultural Committees, along with several select and special committees and commissions.
