Remi is a specialist in public law, public international law, inquests, information and data protection law. He acts for and advises States, government departments, public bodies, corporate entities and individuals. Remi has represented more than dozen States before the International Court of Justice, the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea and international arbitral tribunals. He has acted as counsel in investor-State arbitration and served as ad hoc clerk in more than 10 appeals at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne. Remi was counsel to the Government of Mauritius for more than a decade (2010-2024) and a member of Mauritius’ delegation for the negotiations which culminated in the Mauritius/UK Agreement concerning the Chagos Archipelago. Remi also maintains a busy domestic law practice, representing a wide range of clients in courts and tribunals throughout England & Wales, including in the High Court and Court of Appeal.
