For more than 36 years, Mr. Planchart has excelled in Corporate Law, Banking and Finance, Securities, Exchange Control Regulations, Insurance Law, Private International Law, Contract Law, Obligations and Torts. He advises a great number of local and foreign financial institutions, insurance companies, corporations (national and international), and international law firms. He has been arbitrator in several arbitrations in Venezuela and as Venezuelan legal expert in international arbitrations and court proceedings.

Mr. Planchart is one of the arbitrators of the Arbitration Center of the Caracas Chamber of Commerce (affiliated to the ICC) and of the Business Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (CEDCA) related to the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VenAmCham). He is President of the Legal Committee of the Caracas Chamber of Commerce since 2020. Member of the Corporate Finance and Capital Markets Committee of VenAmCham. Member of the Caracas Bar Association.

Author of essays and articles, among them: “La Hipoteca en Moneda Extranjera.” (2004); “Constitutional Framework of Privatization” ( Canada 1991). He is currently working on a manual in Contracts and Private law.
