Worked in three important Venezuelan law firms in the fields of Tax and Corporate Law (since 1986); Associate at Hoet Peláez Castillo & Duque (2000-2011); Partner of ARAQUEREYNA (since 2011) where she is responsible of the Tax Law practice area.
During more than 35 years, Ms. Cano has advised important clients on matters of Public and Private Contracting. Has extensive experience on the discussion and negotiation of infrastructure projects contracts. Specialized on taxation and its efficient conduction, and in the handling tax matters before administrative and judicial instances.
In the last decade she has specialized in National and International Tax Planning, and advising on matters related to foreign exchange control and investment; gaining recognition as a leading lawyer in the field.
Ms. Cano is a professor of Public Finances at UCV, and has lectured in various national and international conferences.
