More than 40 years of focused practice in Civil and Labor Law; Stood out in resolution of civil and business disputes; Professor at UCAB and Universidad Monteávila; Adviser of several organizations and in the discussions of various laws of a labor and social nature; Venezuelan business sector's Representative in the International Labor Organization's meetings; Arbitrator in procedures, under the regulations of the organizations such as ICC, PCA; Director of multiple companies and organizations.

Mr. Araque’s Litigation and Arbitration practice encompasses a plethora of sectors and expertise that has gained him the recognition as a reference lawyer in Venezuela.

Included in the arbitrators' list of the Commercial Arbitration Center of the Caracas Chamber of Commerce (affiliated to the ICC) and the Business Center for Conciliation and Arbitration; Former Chair of the Venezuelan Chapter of the Spanish Arbitration Club, of the LatinAmerican Arbitration Association and of the ICC LatinAmerican Arbitration Group; Member of the Caracas Bar Association.

Author of several books on legal matters, the last one being entitled Manual de Arbitraje Comercial (2011).
