Paul R. Genender is co-chair of the Global Complex Litigation and Arbitration practice, chair of the Texas Commercial Litigation practice and co-chair of the Dallas office at Paul Hastings. He is a seasoned trial lawyer with an established track record of courtroom success representing plaintiffs, defendants, debtors and creditors in connection with a broad range of business disputes, including antitrust, breach of contract, business fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair and deceptive trade practices, unfair competition, securities fraud, real estate, non-competes and restrictive covenants, misappropriation and theft of trade secrets, and bankruptcy and restructuring litigation. He also counsels clients with regard to board governance, fiduciary duty, crisis management and other business law issues.
Paul represents companies across industry sectors, including financial services, health care, chemicals, life sciences, real estate, retail, business services, energy and telecommunications, as well as non-profits, family trusts and professional associations. He has extensive experience in all aspects of restructuring litigation. Key clients include Alaska Airlines, AT&T, Black & Veatch, Caris Life Sciences, Celanese Corporation, Dave & Busters, Ecobat, Interstate Batteries, Ross Stores, Sears Holdings, Speedcast International, Talen Energy, The Weir Group and Visa. He is also actively engaged in a number of professional, civic and educational organizations.
