Patricia Álvarez

Partner. Patricia Alvarez Alonso specializes in national and international finance transactions (acquisition financing, corporate loans and project finance), advising creditors, including financial institutions, funds and direct lending funds, as well as sponsors and borrowers. In recent years, she has participated in some of the most important restructuring transactions in the market, advising both creditors and companies, enabling her to gain extensive knowledge of the restructuring and insolvency mechanisms most extensively used in the Spanish and international markets.

She lectures regularly at universities such as Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, giving classes on matters relating to financing and guarantees, and pre-insolvency refinancing proceedings.

She is the author of several legal articles on her specialty areas.
