Career

Paloma is the Partner in charge of TMT and Cybersecurity practice in Pinsent Masons Madrid. Her practice focuses on advising Spanish and foreign companies on local and international commercial contracts, privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, outsourcing, e-commerce, and information society services issues.

Paloma provides a full spectrum of services and advice to clients in relation to commercial matters, preparation of public bids, corporate transactions, relations with regulatory institutions, and formulation of allegations and appeals with respect to norms and legislation governing the sector. In privacy matters, she advises companies in their adaptation to Spanish and European data protection laws as well as representing them in claims regarding this subject.

She assists clients with, among others, electronic signatures, compliance related to information society services legislation, spam liability of intermediary service providers, e-contracting of financial services, legal aspects of web design, domain names, WIPO arbitration, outsourcing transactions and contracts, hosting, document management, ASP contracts, IT piracy and contracts, and security breaches. She also provides legal advice dealing with regulatory authorities.
