Neil is a Partner in the Corporate team at Pinsent Masons Ireland LLP. He has over thirty years’ experience as a corporate lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, corporate governance and share schemes. Neil has acted on many complex transactions in the renewable energy, technology and life sciences sectors and is a long standing member (and former Chair) of the Law Society of Ireland’s Business Law Committee and is a member of Ireland’s Company Law Review Group where he represents the Law Society of Ireland.
Neil has advised on many large, complex and high profile M&A transactions, investments and re-organisations including two separate disposals of renewable energy companies where those businesses were valued at over €1billion, a range of fundraising transactions and subsequent disposals of medical device businesses and and co-ordination of the legal work for a number of acquisitions across different jurisdictions for a technology client and a subsequent private equity investment in that client.
Neil is recognised as a thought leader on Irish company law and corporate governance and has written and lectured widely on company law and governance related topics.
