Contentious IP

Karen acts for clients in complex patent disputes; brand protection and enforcement matters; and litigation involving trade marks & passing off, copyright & database rights, designs, trade secrets/confidential information, domain names and data protection. She is also a Unified Patent Court Representative.

Advisory IP, AI & Data

Karen advises clients on commercialisation of IP; EU AI Act compliance; advertising standards; data protection & freedom of information law. Karen is a registered Trade Mark Attorney and is a member of the INTA Public Information Committee (PIC).

Life Sciences Litigation and Med Reg

Karen represents life sciences companies in IP litigation. She also advises them on regulatory compliance, and on all aspects of intellectual property law. Karen co-leads Pinsent Masons’ international generics and biosimilars focus group.
