(on the application of PCS) v Minister for the Cabinet Office; and the successful firefighters in R (FBU) v South Yorkshire FRA); breach of contract claims, including restrictive covenants, PHI and negligent references (represented the successful claimant in CA in Gibb v Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust); discrimination claims (represented the union in CA in Unite v Nailard); Working Time and TUPE claims.

Oliver is the leading silk, acting for agents and principals. He has appeared in most of the important cases, including in HL in Lonsdale v Howard and Hallam; the CA, SupCt and CJEU in Software Incubator Ltd v Computer Associates Ltd; and the CA in Nagel v Pluczenik.
Oliver is a CEDR accredited mediator and has mediated several commercial, employment, industrial and other disputes.
