Practice Areas
Neil has over 20 years of experience assisting clients in the maritime transportation space on U.S. and international litigation and arbitration matters. Neil has particular experience representing owners and operators in U.S. litigation and arbitration involving complex cross-border legal issues, especially those with multi-jurisdictional proceedings. Neil handles international contract disputes, creditors’ rights in U.S. bankruptcy proceedings, obtaining pre- and post-judgement security, vessel foreclosure, charter disputes, and transportation asset-related repossession issues. Neil also helps clients enforce U.S. judgments overseas. In addition, he handles various transactions, including those in the transportation space such as vessel charters, sale and purchase, vessel construction contracts, purchase agreements, terminal agreements, and private equity investments in shipping.
Career
Neil has practiced as a maritime lawyer since graduating from law school. He joined Cozen O’Connor in 2020, and previously worked with Watson, Farley & Williams.
