Miriam Fuchs

Miriam Fuchs is a senior member of the Life Sciences & Healthcare practice. She has extensive experience advising on complex regulatory matters across the full spectrum of pharmaceutical products, including over-the-counter and prescription-only medicines, medical devices, medical aids, cosmetics, and food supplements. Miriam regularly counsels clients on clinical trials, the categorization of medical devices, and the reimbursement of medical aids and medicinal products. She also advises on compliance with applicable local laws and industry codes of conduct, and frequently delivers tailored training sessions to clients on these topics. Beyond her life sciences practice, Miriam advises international clients on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters, including corporate investigations, compliance, internal audits, competition and antitrust, M&A transactions, and restructurings. She proactively identifies regulatory and compliance risks — spanning competition law, public procurement, and anti-bribery — and leads investigations or provides strategic analyses to help clients mitigate their exposure. She also delivers expert lectures and training sessions on corporate investigations and compliance to both clients and colleagues. Miriam has experience representing clients in product liability and product recall matters, as well as in proceedings before regulatory bodies and authorities. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss, Miriam co-developed and co-led the Hungarian life sciences practice of an international law firm, which earned international recognition.
