Milly is a partner and senior member of the Blakes Restructuring & Insolvency group, consistently recognized as one of Canada’s premier corporate restructuring practices. A leading expert in complex, cross-border restructurings and distressed mergers and acquisitions, Milly has extensive experience navigating restructuring matters across Canada and internationally. With over 30 years of experience, Milly has earned the trust of both domestic and foreign clients including debtors, purchasers, lender syndicates, secured creditors, court officers and other key stakeholders, and she has advised on some of the most high-profile and significant insolvency and restructuring mandates.

Milly has held several senior leadership positions in leading restructuring associations, including as former Global Chair of the Turnaround Management Association’s (TMA) with over 10,000 members worldwide and proud inductee into its Turnaround, Restructuring, and Distressed Investing Industry Hall of Fame and a current member of the board of directors of the Insolvency Institute of Canada (IIC), an association of senior Canadian insolvency professionals.
