Michael B. Woodard

Michael Woodard is chair of McGuireWoods’ Mergers & Acquisitions and Energy Transactional department. His practice includes representing utilities, developers and investors (including tax equity) in the energy industry. Mike has extensive experience leading transactional teams in the development, finance, purchase and sale of energy and other infrastructure projects; structuring, negotiation and implementation of corporate transactions, joint ventures and financings, including transactions involving wind, solar, battery storage, fuel cells, renewable natural gas and other alternative energy sources. He has led successful regulated and unregulated transactions primarily in California, Texas and along the East Coast.
