Matthew Schwartz

Matthew Schwartz’s practice focuses on a wide range of mergers and acquisition-related matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and joint ventures for corporations, leading private equity firms, and sovereign wealth funds. Matthew also has extensive experience in the sports, technology, media, and entertainment sectors, and regularly serves as an advisor to sports industry leaders on transformative transactions and “bet-the-company” matters.

Matthew also spent approximately two years as the Acting Chief Legal Officer of LIV Golf, where he advised on the design of the league’s corporate and commercial structure, and gained significant exposure to a number of issues regularly impacting sports leagues, including sponsorship and licensing agreements, player agreements, and venue agreements.
