Matthew Ambler

Career

Matthew works on a variety of complex pension matter. He is the main day-to-day contact for several of the team key clients including a defined benefit scheme with five separate benefit sections the defined benefit and defined contribution schemes sponsored by several UK employers of a conglomerate based in the Far East a Prudential Regulation Authority/Financial Conduct Authority regulated friendly society that provides pension benefits).

Matthew is also the team's lead contact for public sector pension matters. He regularly works on matters involving the Civil Service Pension Scheme, the Local Government Pension Scheme, the NHS Pension Scheme and the Teachers' Pension Scheme.

Drawing upon experience gained from personal trustee appointments (including the Leeds Diocesan Board of Finance and the Leeds Diocesan Board of Education) Matthew also has considerable experience advising third sector clients.
