Career

Martín is the managing partner of Guerrero Olivos and a member of the real estate area. In addition, he is a member of the environment department. He specializes in project development, construction, real estate regulatory and permitting, acquisition and sale of real estate projects and AAA Class buildings, environmental regulatory and transactional matters, and environmental disputes. His real estate practice has both a transactional and a regulatory focus. In the regulatory area, Martín has become one of the most prominent experts in Chile in zoning regulations and real estate permits conflicts.

Professional Memberships

Martín is the President of the board of the Vivienda and Techo-Chile Foundation, Director of Déficit Cero and member of the board of the Moreau Foundation. He is a member of the Legislation Committee of the Chilean Chamber of Construction and was CEO of Chilean environmental consultancy firm Sustentable S.A. (2002-2006).

Experience

Martín served as Adviser and Chief of Staff of the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of Chile (1997-2000), and in the academic field, he is Co-Director of the Real Estate Law and Business Diploma in the School of Law of the Universidad Católica de Chile and has served as Professor in the Urban Planning Master at the Architecture School of the Universidad Católica de Chile.
