Managing partner of Guerrero Olivos, leading partner of the real estate department and member of the environment team. He specializes in project development, construction, real estate regulatory and permitting, acquisition and sale of real estate projects and AAA Class buildings, environmental regulatory and transactional matters, and environmental disputes. His real estate practice has both a transactional and a regulatory focus. In the regulatory area, Martín has become one of the most prominent experts in Chile in zoning regulations and real estate permits conflicts.
Career
He served as Adviser and Chief of Staff of the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of Chile from 1997 to 2000, and was CEO of Chilean environmental consultancy firm Sustentable S.A. from 2002 to 2006.
He is the President of the board of the Vivienda and Techo-Chile Foundation and member of the board of the Moreau Foundation.
In the academic field, Martin is Co-Director of the Real Estate Law and Business Diploma in the School of Law of the Universidad Católica de Chile and has served as Professor in the Urban Planning Master at the Architecture School of the Universidad Católica de Chile.
