Martín Santa María is the leading partner of Guerrero Olivos’ real estate and environmental law groups. He specializes in project development, construction, real estate regulatory and permitting, acquisition and sale of real estate projects and AAA Class buildings, environmental regulatory and transactional matters and environmental disputes.
He graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile School of Law (1995). He has a Master of Laws (LLM) and a Master in Public Policy (MPP) from the University of Michigan (2002).
Martín is Co-Director of the Real Estate Law and Business Diploma, at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile School , and has served as Professor in the Urban Planning Master at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Architecture School .
He served as Adviser and Chief of Staff of the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of Chile from 1997 to 2000 and is the CEO of Chilean environmental consultancy firm Sustentable S.A. from 2002 to 2006.
