Practice Areas
Counsel. She is an expert in advising and representing national and international clients on all areas of Spanish and European competition law, including cartels, abuse of dominance, merger control and state aid. She advises and represents companies in proceedings with the European Commission and the Spanish competition authorities, including assisting clients during inspections, when submitting leniency applications and in settlement procedures. She is an expert in advising on corporate matters, particularly in the rail industry and in the biotechnology industry.
Career
She lectures in the Master in European Union Law and in the Master in Regulated Sectors Law at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and lectures at the Institute of Stock Exchange Studies (IEB). Previously, she lectured at other Spanish and international universities, such as the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Professional Memberships
She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and the Spanish Association for the Defense of Competition. In 2020, she was named non-governmental advisor to the International Competition Network (ICN) on behalf of the Spanish Markets and Competition Comission.
