She has also developed successful preventive and compliance programs in accordance with Ecuadorian and Andean regulations.
María de Los Ángeles is a professor of Intellectual Property Law at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ). Also, she was a lecturer of Unfair Competition, Intellectual Property, and Copyright at Universidad Internacional del Ecuador (UIDE).
She is a member of the International Trademark Association and the Interamerican Intellectual Property Association (IIPA).
