Career

Margarida is co-coordinator of the insurance team and reinsurance and pension fund team and a member of the Corporate and M&A and capital markets team.

She specially focuses on mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, acting both for Portuguese and foreign clients, as well as on the provision of general legal advice to companies mainly in the areas of commercial, corporate, and securities law. Margarida is also an expert in areas such as corporate insurance, insurance M&A, insurance contract law, insurance distribution, bancassurance, insurance regulation and insurtech.

Margarida has also been involved in several transactions regarding the issue and offering of equity and debt securities.
