Career

Manmeet is a Senior Partner in the disputes practice of the Firm and a member of the Firm’s Management Committee. He has extensive experience in handling complex and high value commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitrations and insolvency matters. He has acted for a range of international and domestic clients including financial institutions, foreign private equity and strategic investors and large Indian conglomerates.

Manmeet is known for his expertise in representing Indian and international developers and contractors on disputes concerning the infrastructure, energy, construction and industrial sectors, domestic and international banks and financial institutions on debt recovery matters, shareholder dispute matters, securities regulation matters and regulatory litigation concerning various sectors. His clients value his ability to think ahead, strategize the matter and use his deep knowledge of the law to help them achieve their desired commercial outcomes. Manmeet acts on the most critical matters which the Firm advises on and leads a team of 18 lawyers across New Delhi and Mumbai offices.

Prior to joining Saraf and Partners, Manmeet was associated with Luthra and Luthra Law Offices for almost 17 years where he was designated as Partner in 2012. He is an alumnus of the prestigious National Law School of India University (Bengaluru) and Columbia Law School (New York).

 Recognized as a ‘Litigation Star’ by Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific 2023 Rankings. He is the only Indian lawyer to be recognised for three verticals by Benchmark Litigation within the dispute resolution space – corporate and commercial disputes, construction disputes and insolvency disputes.
