Mafalda Alves da Silva

Mafalda Alves da Silva is a Senior Associate at Employment & Pensions practice at CMS Portugal. She has particular focus on staff restructuring processes and redundancy programmes, as well as day-to-day employment advice and employment-related data protection and compliance issues.

She acts for some of the major players in the market with particular expertise assisting companies from the pharmaceutical, financial services, retail, services and industrial sectors.

She provides day-to-day employment law and Human Resources advice to a number of clients, notably conducting and instructing disciplinary procedures, preparing legal opinions; defining employees´ hiring policies and organizing working hours.

Mafalda has also successfully assisted a number of Senior Management, Managing Directors and Board Directors in negotiating the termination of their employment contracts.
