Stefan Paulmayer is a partner of CMS and a member of the Banking & Finance team,. specialising in financing, asset-backed financing (securitisation), restructuring/insolvency law, derivative transactions and (banking) supervisory law.

He has advised on both large (real estate) financing and large (cross-border) restructuring transactions. Another focus of his previous work is the area of bank restructuring and settlement.

Most recently, he focused on the area of New Technologies such as SmartContracts and Blockchain where he is active as both legal advisor of FinTech companies as well as lecturer.
