Career

Luis has extensive experience on advising clients in all kind of financings, being one of the most recognised practitioners in the field of asset finance (aircraft, vessels, industrial machinery) in Spain. Because of that, he has been appointed as part of the Aviation Working Group and leads a team which is recognised as one of the best ship financing teams of Spain.

He has also broad experience on advising in infrastructure, energy and real asset financings and has form part of multidisciplinary teams that have advised in some of the most innovative projects in Spanish market.

Luis has been appointed to advise financing entities as well as other institutional investors and corporates.

He has also provided extensive advice in other relevant areas of corporate law, such as public M&A and capital markets.

Law Degree, Luis joined KPMG in 2011 after a large professional career at Castro, Sueiro and Varela where he became partner in 2010. He is currently the responsible of the Mercantile department in Madrid Office and head of the financing transactions line of services in KPMG Abogados.
