Alain is an expert in compliance programs and management systems and provides regular advice to local and international groups on compliance matters. He is an accredited expert at international level and head of the Spanish delegation from the ISO committees in charge of drafting the main global compliance standards. He was also heading the ad-hoc group in charge of drafting the Spanish national standard on compliance ISO 19601.
He is the director of the Postgraduate Course in Compliance taught at the University Carlos III (Madrid) jointly with the UPF (Barcelona) and frequent lecturer on compliance topics in several universities and forums in Spain and Spanish speaking countries
he isLaw Degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 1988, and additional formation in European Institutions in Belgium and Germany.
Alain joined KPMG in 1988 and was promoted to Partner in 2000. He currently heads the Compliance Practice Area in KPMG Spain.
