Career

Carlos is the Partner in charge of the Corporate Tax and International Tax Services of KPMG Abogados in Barcelona. Since 1994 he has worked as a tax advisor for large companies and specialises in international tax planning, restructuring, cross-border acquisitions and transfer pricing for large multinationals, as well as in taxation of foreign investments in Spain.

He holds a Law Degree from the Universidad de Barcelona and a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from IESE, Universidad de Navarra. Before joining KPMG, he was the head of the Spanish Tax Desk in Chicago (from July 2001 to June 2003) and New York (from July 2003 to August 2005) of another Big Four firm.

He is a frequent speaker in seminars on international tax aspects organized by different entities and academic institutions in Spain
