Julio César García

Tax (Corporate Tax, EU Tax, Digital Taxation and Tax Litigation)

Julio is an expert in Tax. He has broad expertise in state, regional and local tax litigation. He is also an expert on tax regulatory issues. In his almost 25 years of experience, Julio has participated in some of the most relevant EU and national tax disputes, and has advised some of the leading IBEX - 35 companies and some of the most important business associations before the National High Court, the Spanish Supreme Court and also before the General Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union. He is also an expert in Corporate Tax and Digital Taxation

He holds a Law Degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (1995). He also holds a Master's Degree in Tax Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues (1997) and is Member of the Madrid Bar Association

Julio joined KPMG in 2008 after a large professional record at Garrigues in the Tax department of Madrid. He was promoted to partner in 2009 and appointed Head of the Company Taxation Area in 2016.
