Luciana Gil has been the head of Bichara Advogados’ Environmental and Climate Changes area for ten years, providing expert legal advice for different kinds of segments, such as infrastructure, with a special focus on the energy sector (such as hydroelectric, thermoelectric, small hydroelectric power station, wind power, solar power, distribution, and transmission, etc), besides railways and highways, telecommunications, oil and gas, seismic activities, mining, cement, among others.

Luciana's expertise extends to environmental legal advice (environmental licensing, defenses before public environmental authorities, negotiation before stakeholders, and risks assessment).

Luciana has been nationally and internationally recognised for ten years as one of Brazil's top environmental lawyers. Moreover, she is highly regarded by all her clients and has deep knowledge of how to approach the environmental authorities, conduct environmental crisis management, and deal with high-complexity proceedings in the administrative and judicial spheres.
