Adriana initiated the Bichara Advogados’ Litigation, Arbitration, and Mediation area ten years ago and has been the major responsible for the growth of the area, contributing daily to the firm's recognition by the legal market. Besides that, she leads on matters involving corporate, civil liability, and contractual disputes across a range of areas, most notably concessions and education.
In the past, as an effective Member of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro Section (OAB/RJ) from 2007 to 2015, Ms. Astuto headed the Arbitration Commission and Mediation Commission, as well as the Commission of Brazilian and Foreign Law Firms of the Rio de Janeiro Bar Association, and was the vice-president of the Commission of Real Estate Law (2011-2013).
