Luca Jeantet specialises in commercial law and insolvency advising financial institutions on restructuring and turnaround matters. He also advises insolvent companies, investors and creditors in relation to debt restructuring, using the tools provided for by the Italian bankruptcy law including certified plans (“piani attestati”), debt restructuring agreements (“accordi di ristrutturazione”), and compositions with creditors, proposing innovative alternatives both for the debtors and for the creditors involved.
He is the Co-Head of Restructuring Department of the Firm.
He has significant experience in major complex restructuring operations, such as, for example, debt releasing arrangements through assignment of receivables and ensuing recapitalization or through proposals for composition with creditors under bankruptcy, with conversion of receivables into capital. During the last few years he has handled many transactions involving, amongst the others, companies listed on the Italian Stock Exchange.
He is a member of the Italian Bar.
