Piero is a recognised expert in domestic and Community antitrust law as well as in Italian antitrust procedure, often assisting companies before the administrative court in charge of reviewing the Authority’s decisions and before civil courts.
He has been the Head of the Italian Competition Authority’s Legal Service from 1995 to 2002 and had formerly been an officer at CONSOB, the Italian Regulator for stock exchange and trade.
