Lisa is the latest addition to the Eversheds Sutherland procurement and tendering team and joins as Partner in Belfast.
Lisa's expertise lies in Public Procurement Law (contentious and non-contentious), Construction Law (contentious and non-contentious) and PPP/PFI Projects.
Lisa's clients include public bodies and economic operators. She has advised public bodies on the drafting of public tenders as well as undertaking due diligence on behalf of tenderers. Lisa has also defended and challenged procurements in the High Court.
Her level of knowledge is evident not only in her advice to clients, but also through her contributions to local press and legal publications. Recently she has lectured architectural students at the University of Ulster on construction contracts and procurement methods.
Lisa graduated from Queen's University with a degree in Mathematics and then went on to graduate from the School of Law and the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. Lisa also has a postgraduate certificate in Public Procurement Law and Policy at Nottingham University. Lisa is qualified to practice in Northern Ireland and England & Wales.
Lisa is a member of the Executive Committee for the Procurement Lawyers Association and presented to the cabinet office on the associations view on the consultation on the new UK Procurement Bill.
