About

Provided by Eversheds Sutherland

We are one of the largest Construction and Engineering teams in the world. With over 80 UK-based specialists and many more across Europe, we support clients through every stage of their projects—from procurement, contracting and funding to risk management and international arbitration.

Eversheds Sutherland’s Belfast-based construction team, led by ranked lawyer Lisa Boyd, advises clients across the full construction lifecycle in Ireland, Northern Ireland and GB. We have deep expertise across infrastructure, real estate, energy and transport, and are engaged in nearly all major infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Our growing international arbitration practice strengthens our capabilities in the UK, France, the Middle East and the US.

Recent highlights for the Northern Ireland team include advising on JCT, MF/1, NEC and FIDIC contracts; supporting a dispute over a flagship HQ lease agreement in Dublin; and advising on Northern Ireland’s only post-Grenfell cladding remediation scheme.
