Tom is an partner in our construction and engineering team. He has extensive experience in both non-contentious and contentious construction work for a wide variety of clients including central government, local authorities, funders, developers, higher and further education providers, and contractors.
Tom's recent experience includes: acting for central government bodies in connection with a number of significant transport infrastructure projects; acting for highways authorities in developing framework agreements for highways works; advising on legacy projects across the Olympic Park; acting for a developer in the leisure sector on the development of a major new leisure facility; acting for a university in connection with the construction of a major new building incorporating a large auditorium, teaching space and offices; acting for a pension fund in connection with its portfolio of nationwide property assets and associated development projects; and advising a number of funders in relation to lending for a number of development projects.
Tom's experience also includes acting for funders, project sponsors and special purpose vehicles in connection with PFI/PPP schemes in the: hospital, housing, student accommodation and road sectors.
